Terence Koh’s first solo exhibition in the US occurred at the Whitney Museum from January–May 2007. For the exhibition Koh created a site-specific installation in the museum’s lobby. He constructed an atmosphere that was peaceful and simplistic, using monochromatic elements and objects to evoke a range of moods. The catalog for the exhibition is a piece in and of itself, possessing the same monochromatic themes and object relationships.
Terrence Koh Limited Edition includes the catalogue from his exhibition, Terrence Koh, on view at the Whitney Museum January 19-May 27, 2007 which has a hand-gouached cover and a cast lead sculptural insert. Edition of 50. Signed by the Artist.
*Please note that it was the artist's intent for the cast lead sculptural object to roll around and scratch the white print of the box. The work will be shipped without securing the sculpture and any damage is intentional.
