Lonnie Holley was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1950. He is a self-taught African American artist, an improviser, and quite interdisciplinary. Over the years, he has created drawings, paintings, photography, sound and performance art. However, he is best known for sculptures cobbled together from all sorts of found objects, from cherished personal items to ephemera.
This CD Digipak comes with a 20 page booklet featuring lyric transcriptions and artwork by Lonnie Holley.
